COEN 120 - Real Time Computing

Group Project timeline.

Instructor: Dr. Neil R. Quinn Jr.

A group project proposal is to be submitted by 11:59pm on 11/02. 

Modifications or resubmittals of project proposals are to be completed by 11:59pm on 11/05.

A complete "Use Case" description of the project requirements is to be submitted by 11:59pm on 11/09.

An Object Model Diagram with all objects, associations, attributes and operations by 11:59pm on 11/15.

A final version of the project is to be turned in by the beginning of class on 11/30.

A report of your final version should be submitted BOTH electronically to the drop box and printed and given to me on Friday 11/30 at the beginning of class.  In addition, you should put your entire project folder into your group's folder on the server.

You will be asked to demonstrate your group projects on the target systems in the lab during a special session of lab on the last day of class,  11/30.

This schedule should give you plenty of time to do this project. Keep in mind that the COEN lab in the trailer will be open on Thursday nights until 12:00pm.

This project will count for 30% of your class grade.

The grading for each project will consist of the following items:

  1. Complexity - factor of (.9 - 1.0)
  2. Runs - weight of 7
  3. Documentation - weight of 7
  4. Use Case - weight of 5
  5. Design - weight of 7
  6. Sequence diagrams - possible 5% bonus

Grade = A*((B*7+C*7+D*5+E*7)/(7+7+5+7))+(.005*F)
