COEN 120 - Real Time Computing

Personal Project timeline.

An individual project proposal is to be submitted by 11:59pm on 10/05. 

Modifications or resubmittals of project proposals are to be completed by 11:59pm on 10/10.

A complete "Use Case" description of the project requirements is to be submitted by 11:59pm on 10/14.

A preliminary submittal of the project using either Microsoft Visual C++ or VxWorks showing all objects being used and any additional progress to date including a description of any difficulties you are having, should be submitted by 01:00pm on 10/22.

A final version of the project is to be turned in by 01:00pm on 10/29.

A report of your final version should be submitted BOTH electronically to the drop box and printed and given to me on Monday 10/29 at the beginning of class.

This schedule should give you plenty of time to do this project. Keep in mind that the COEN lab in the trailer wil be open on Thursday nights starting 10/18 until 12:00pm.

This project will count for 30% of your class grade.

The grading for each project will consist of the following items:

  1. Complexity - factor of (.9 - 1.0)
  2. Compiles - weight of 9
  3. Runs - weight of 7
  4. Documentation - weight of 7
  5. Use Case - weight of 5
  6. Design - weight of 7
  7. Sequence diagrams - possible 5% bonus
  8. On Time - possible 5% bonus

Grade = A*((B*9+C*7+D*7+E*5+F*7)/(9+7+7+5+7))*(1+.05*G)*(1+.05*H)
